VING, from ‘giVING’, is a charitable foundation that works on the mission of giving back and celebrates the generosity of teenagers. Founded by Eric Lefkofsky along with his co-founder wife Liz Lefkofsky, this organization has reached great heights over the years.

VING charity gives away a tax-free $1000 check to teens for the ones they want to help. From a very young age, these youths learn to be humble and openhanded.

Teenagers from 14 to 18 years are encouraged to look out for neighbors or anyone outside their family who requires financial help in times of crisis. It is even better if the person they decide to assist is over the age of 18. After they feel the urge to help that person or family in need, the steps ahead are extremely simple.

Teens have to make a 2 minutes long video explaining why they want to or think of the need for helping their applicant. Its two easy steps after that: waiting to hear a response back within 30 days from VING, and finally surprise their nominee.

Throughout numerous years, many applicants have received this grant. And it has given them hope in times of difficulties.

Lefkofsky says; “Those kids ten, fifteen years from now, they will remember that they got to do something powerful and impactful in a crazy difficult time”.

Therefore, for many 14 to 18-year old, it will be a memorable, proud, and particularly encouraging experience in life which will motivate a charitable future.
