Wayne County Opens Additional Shelters Ahead of Hurricane Florence

**Additional shelters opened: Mount Olive Middle School, 309 Wooten Street, Mount Olive & Spring Creek Middle School, 3579 NC 111, Seven Springs.**

The shelter at Carver Elementary School in Mount Olive is full and can no longer accept those seeking shelter.
At this time, cots are not available at the locations above. Individuals should bring any of the following – blankets, pillows, blow-up mattresses, cots – and must bring personal hygiene items, medication, as well as special needs items for infants, children, and the elderly.

The following shelter locations in Wayne County for individuals during Hurricane Florence are:

– Wayne Academy at 801 N Lionel St in Goldsboro, NC

– Spring Creek High School at 4340 Indian Springs Road in Seven Springs, NC

– Carver Elementary School at 400 Old Seven Springs Road in Mount Olive, NC

– Tommy’s Road Elementary School at 1150 Tommy’s Road in Goldsboro, NC

**The shelters will open Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10AM.**
