MOUNT OLIVE, NC—Academy of Country Music Award nominee RaeLynn will perform for the Friday Night concert at the 30th annual N.C. Pickle Festival April 22.
The concert, presented by Katie Country 97.7, will also feature the Eastern North Carolina-based Blake Kearney Band.
RaeLynn first appeared on the country music scene as a contestant on Team Blake from season two of The Voice and returned to the hit NBC show to perform her gold-certified single, “God Made Girls.” Her EP, “Me,” was released in January 2015 and quickly ascended into the Top 5 on the iTunes Country Top Albums Chart. Her notable singles include “Boyfriend,” “God Made Girls” and “For a Boy.”
The Voice alum has continued to shine with her unique talents and bold personality: opening slots on major tours with Rascal Flatts and Miranda Lambert, scoring nominations for the 2015 CMT Music Awards Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year and having the highest charting debut single by a solo female artist in 2014. RaeLynn continues to celebrate with her recent 2016 Radio Disney Awards’ nod for Favorite Country Song (“God Made Girls”).
The first-ever ACM nominee for New Female Vocalist of the Year will be at the ACM Awards ceremony set for April 3 in Las Vegas.
“We are so excited to have RaeLynn perform at the N.C. Pickle Festival,” said Julie Beck, festival co-chairman. “She brings a fresh new dimension to our Friday night concert, and we look forward to having her here. We think it’s also great to be able to watch RaeLynn at the ACM Awards and know that she will be here in Mount Olive just a few weeks later.”
The Friday Night Concert is set at the Mount Olive Municipal Airport. Tickets are $13.25 in advance, and $25 at the gate. Tickets can be purchased online at www.ncpicklefest.org. Advance tickets can also be purchased in person at the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce and at Katie Country 97.7 in Goldsboro. Overflow parking and a free shuttle will be available at the former IMPulseNC location on Old Mount Olive Highway. Concessions will be available at the concert.
The award-winning North Carolina Pickle Festival, presented by the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce, draws tens of thousands to downtown Mount Olive on the last full weekend in April each year.
