With an impending snowstorm in the area, a group of high school students shoveled a neighbor’s driveway at 4:30 am so that she could make it on time for her dialysis.

Brian and Patrick Lanigan, students at Parsippany High School in New Jersey, live next to the elderly lady who depends on ambulance transportation to take her for her dialysis treatments.

Brian, works as an EMT, shoveled his neighbor’s driveway last week to make way for the ambulance, even as the weather forecast called for 8 more inches of snow.

The Lanigan brothers knew that they had to help their neighbor, but as Brian worked early in the morning, they knew they wouldn’t be able to clear the driveway as the ambulance arrives at 6 am.

Patrick knew he would need more hands to do the job so he started calling people on his contact list for help.

True enough the next morning at 4:30 AM, four friends of his turned up with shovels in hand and in the next thirty minutes, they had successfully cleared the driveway.

Patrick’s dad captioned a picture of the teenage “snow angels” and posted it to Twitter, praising the youngsters for their compassion. The picture has since gone viral on social media garnering praise from all quarters.
