Celebration time. It’s been a very long time since I wrote an editorial, however, I’ve been busy with SAVED News. I just wanted to drop by and thank God, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, all of you on #TeamSAVEDNews, the advertisers, and the entire #SAVEDNews team, both present, and past, for your part in helping #SAVEDNews reach its 7th anniversary.

The past 7 years we’ve seen souls saved, people healed, delivered, and set free by God through #SAVEDNew newspaper, now magazine; television shows; events; and social media.

I’m so honored that God entrusted me with this vision and to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through media. I in myself am unworthy, but by His grace, love, and guidance, the vision became a reality. God sent anointed people to walk with me through this journey. He sent the right people at the right time to keep the vision alive. Although I don’t like to name names, there’s a few that I’d be remiss if I didn’t.

Team #MakeItHappen

These are the people that helped bring SAVED News to life through written word, TV, marketing, administrative, and behind the scenes: Joseph McLamb, Callie Mitchell, James Edelen, Anthony Tyus, Earnesto Morrisie, Vickie Barnes-Mobley, Kalilah Mischeaux, Myron Pridgen, Bernard Russett, Bernice Mars, Daniel Johnson, Gabriel Media Arenas, Apostle Carmena Cox, Thomas Pollock, Kenan Mooring, Prophet Ron Johnson, Jackie Barnes, Lori Grant, Matthew Whittle, the loved late Patricia Grantham, Apostle Syvilla Pristell, Prophetess Yolanda Berry, Sarah Atkinson, Tammy Greene, Handy Applewhite, Karen Creech, Chris Miller, Kazi Musa, Darius Pemberton, Shay Pemberton and many more. My business mentors, Lalie Cobb-Kornegay and Apostle Walter L. Barbour. As the saying goes, blame my head and not my heart if I missed you.

Seven years is no small feat, we’ve gone from a newspaper to a slick magazine and added television to our line up. We’ve been able to bring it FREE to you only because of our advertisers. PLEASE, support our advertisers as they’ve made this all financially possible. Please buy local 1st, it supports our community and helps businesses support one another and employ you and your loved ones.

What’s Next?

“What’s next for SAVED News,” you ask? Well, the magazine is still going strong and our social media is rocking. “The Balance” new season premiered and “Good Fellaz” season premiere is October 4th. We also have a new show in the works that I’m positive you’ll enjoy. It will premiere just in time for Thanksgiving. There’s a HUGE surprise coming by 2020. So stay connected. –

Love always, Azlea “A~Z” Hubbard, SAVED News CEO
