Many governors required “Houses of Worship” to close during the pandemic, listing them as “non-essential” sparking lawsuits across the country. The firestorm across the nation prompted President Trump in a press conference today to deem “Houses of Worship” as essential places that provide essential services. He called on the governors to allow churches and houses of worship to open “right now.” Houses of Worship includes churches, synagogues, mosques.
The President stated that if the governors had any questions for them to call him, but state “they’re not going to be successful in that call.” He stated that “these are places that hold our society together and our people united. The people are demanding to go to church, synagogue, and masques. Many people see worship as an essential part of life.”
