Goldsboro – SAVED News – After one year of virtual worship, Deeper Life Church Ministries (DLCM), 900 Eleventh Street, Goldsboro, NC, will return to in-person worship while continuing its virtual service on Resurrection (Easter) Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Appropriate safety protocol is in place as DLCM is prepared for a maximum of two hundred and fifty of its members, friends, and/or visitors to return to the sanctuary. Weekly online (or a call to the church) registration is required beginning March 21, 2021.
“Resurrection Sunday is the time we celebrate the rising of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we enter into the sanctuary after one year, we are calling our church to RISE UP! Rise up to more ministry, rise up to more responsibility, rise up to more outreach and rise up to fulfill our God given assignments,” said Aaron McNair, II, Senior Pastor. “You’ll see DLCM on another level after Resurrection Sunday. This is the time for people to connect if they are looking for a life-giving, focused church. This is the place. It’s simply time to Rise Up!”
Prior to entering the sanctuary, persons will be asked to sign a participation waiver, wear a mask, practice social distancing, and have their temperature check.
While DLCM was not in the sanctuary, it remained involved in ministry, especially outreach. During the course of the year, DLCM has emphasized its City Impact initiatives including covid 19 testing, voter registration, Loads On Us, a Fall Festival, Thanksgiving food give-away, and feeding selected Wayne County teachers. In the months of March and April, DLCM will initiate a Love Blitz, distribute packages to the homeless, and host a Gas On Us.
