ARLINGTON, Texas /SAVED News/ — Coming soon to televisions and devices across the U-S and around the world will be a one-hour special featuring a collection of some of the top performers in Gospel music with an homage to our Lord and Savior.

It promises to be one of the great television events of this Easter season.

Headliners

The headliners will be Grammy and Stellar Award winners like the late great Bishop Rance Allen, Earl Bynum, Clareta Haddon, Gerald Alston, current Billboard chart-topping Gospel singer Keyla Richardson, legendary Gospel singer Dorothy Norwood, and renowned saxophonist Mel Holder. Plus, Michelle Brooks-Thompson, a one-time finalist from the NBC program ‘The Voice’ and many other great Gospel recording artists.

Collectively, they’ll be fulfilling the charge in Psalm 100 to “make a joyful noise, unto the Lord” in a show being called ‘Melodies of Resurrection.’

Behind The Scenes

The program is being executive-produced by Carlton McConnell, CEO of Arlington, Texas-based Round the Clock Entertainment Group, and the aforementioned Mel Holder, CEO of the Psalmist Music Group.

“We are thrilled to be working with this awesome group of recording artists and songwriters in praise of the most significant event in Christendom, the resurrection of Jesus. And we’re delighted that this Easter special will be broadcast on several different television networks including The Word and the NOW Christian networks with their reach to a potential audience in the hundreds of millions,” says McConnell.

Air Time

The ‘Melodies of Resurrection’ program will air on The Word Network (TWN) on Good Friday, April 2nd, at 11 pm. TWN is carried by AT&T U-verse, Xfinity, and DirecTV among other providers. The show will be broadcast on varied dates and times by our other network partners and across several streaming services. Please check your local listings for the dates and times in your particular area.

‘Melodies of Resurrection’ will be hosted by Mel Holder and Sirius XM Gospel radio personality Meta Washington.
